This survey compares existing tools and experiments at the intersection of Blender and AI agents. It helps the Generative Scene System identify useful precedents, gaps, and questions worth testing.
Scope
The research considers how different projects control Blender, represent scene intent, inspect results, reuse work, and handle failure. Some emphasize precise tool actions; others emphasize visual feedback or larger production workflows. The survey asks which ideas are useful for a scene-building system directed by a human.
It does not imply that the projects surveyed are components of the LOTG Labs system.
What it contributes
The survey has helped sharpen questions about scene interpretation, reliable construction, and evidence of completion. It also helps distinguish a primitive Blender operation from a reusable generator and a higher-level capability an agent might request.
It is still a living research document. The full comparison matrix and technical synthesis remain in the research workspace until a public release is selected.
