The first Botopia service is live. This investigation asks what a deployed machine-facing system teaches once real operation replaces assumptions from the build phase.
The work
The review covers reliability, clarity of documentation, service terminology, and the cost and maintenance of ongoing operation. Observations from use are informing a smaller, more deliberate next version.
The transition from “it deployed” to “I understand how it behaves” matters. Logs and reports can reveal mismatches between what a builder intended and what clients actually encounter. Documentation has two audiences here: machines need a usable interface description, and humans need an honest account of the service and its limits.
The Lab is also asking which parts of the first build should become reusable knowledge for later Botopia work. That question is being answered through operation and review, rather than assuming that every piece of the initial build should be generalized.
Current status
The v1.1 scope is still being evaluated. The Lab is recording what works, what needs further investigation, and what should be improved. Logs, incident details, reporting channels, change inventories, and operating procedures are kept in the private workspace.
